Street Trees

• You must be 18 or over to apply for a Street Trees Celebration Starter Kit.
• Only one Street Trees Celebration Starter Kit will be sent to each street.
• There are 500 Street Trees Celebration Starter Kit to give away. These will be issued on a first-come-first-served basis and while stocks last.
• You must have trees on your streets.
• You must be part of a community group to receive a Street Trees Celebration Starter Kit.
• The contents of the Street Trees Celebration Starter Kit must only be used for the purposes of the Street Trees project as set out in our Street Trees guidance booklet (13MB, PDF).
• Employees of the Woodland Trust their immediate families and persons connected with the competition are not eligible.
• All Street Trees Celebration Starter Kits will be sent directly to the person applying.

Personal data

• The Woodland Trust will collect and store the names and contact details of all participants and winners. The Woodland Trust will use this personal data for the following purposes:

  • managing the relationship between the applicants and the Woodland Trust;
  • communicating with applicants about all information regarding the Street Trees project, including promotional campaigns.

• Where a participant has consented to the Woodland Trust doing so, the Woodland Trust may contact the participant using the personal data collected to provide information about our work, activities, campaigns, goods, services or promotions that the Woodland Trust offers.
• By applying for a Street Trees Celebration Starter Kit, you consent to your personal data being processed by the Woodland Trust in accordance with, and for the purposes set out in, these terms and conditions.
• The Woodland Trust takes privacy very seriously, and we will only use your personal information in accordance with the terms of our Privacy Policy. By submitting an application, you acknowledge and agree that you have read and accept the terms of our Privacy Policy and these terms and conditions.

General rules

• Street Trees is a project of and promoted by the Woodland Trust, supported by Players of People’s Postcode Lottery. The Woodland Trust is a charity registered in England and Wales (No. 294344) and in Scotland (No. SC038885). A non-profit making company limited by guarantee. Registered in England No. 1982873, with its registered office at Kempton Way, Grantham, Lincolnshire, NG31 6LL.
• The Woodland Trust excludes all liability under these terms, in contract or tort (including negligence) for any loss, damage, costs and/or expenses, loss of profits, goodwill, consequential, indirect or special losses, howsoever caused, suffered or incurred in connection with the Street Trees Celebration Starter Kit giveaway.
• We reserve the right to vary these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any variations will be notified to you by email and/or by posting the variations to our website.
• These Terms and Conditions (as amended from time to time) constitute the entire agreement between you and the Woodland Trust concerning your application for a Street Trees Celebration Starter Kit.
• The use of the Woodland Trust logo or People’s Postcode Lottery logo is only to be used with prior agreement of the Street Trees team on press releases, media, websites and any other related activity not included in the ‘Celebration Starter Kit’ to the project.
