Woodland Trust credit card

Help plant trees and create beautifully poetic woodland landscapes - with the Woodland Trust credit card, provided by the Co-operative Bank (Photo: WTML)

The Co-operative Bank is no longer accepting new applications for the Woodland Trust Credit Card.

The bank, our valued partner, removed the card from sale with affect from 31 July, 2017.

Existing Woodland Trust Credit Card customers will continue to be able to use their credit card and the Bank will continue to make donations to us.

The Co-operative Bank became a partner of ours in 2007 by launching the Woodland Trust Credit Card and to date the card has raised more than £336,000 for our work.

This has helped massively towards planting the 38 million trees we have put in the ground to date. Why not help us plant more by getting involved?

We will continue to receive 25p for every £100 spent and 25p for every £100 transferred to the card by existing Woodland Trust Credit Card holders.

The Co-operative Bank continues to be a partner. Despite the news surrounding the Woodland Trust Credit Card, the bank continues to work with us via other incentives and opportunities:

-Switch Campaign: This ran from February 2014 to December 2015. Customers who switched their current accounts to the Co-operative Bank received £100 cash and could nominate one of seven charities to receive a £25 donation from the Bank.  We were one of these beneficiaries.  We received a £79,000 donation.

Everyday Rewards: From January 2016 and ongoing.  Eligible current account customers who opt into the Bank's Everyday Rewards Scheme can choose not to be paid the cash rewards. Instead the Bank can make a donation to one of five chosen charities. So far we have received more than £20,000.
