This position statement sets out the Trust's stance on the translocation of plants and animals for the purposes of conservation.
In the face of increasing environmental change, especially climate change, and pressures on biodiversity, it can be an effective conservation strategy. However, it also carries risks.
This statement sets out both sides of the argument and explains the Trust’s position.
