Read how access improvements have made woodland management easier at Fingle woods...

Narrow roads and rural pathways can mean that accessing ancient woodland sites is one of the biggest problems for restoration, harvesting and sustainable woodland management.

As a result, this will help the restoration project at Fingle to harvest sustainably, increase timber extractions and cut haulage costs.
