Trees improve urban air quality discussion paper, December 2012

This discussion paper looks at how integrating trees into towns and cities can improve water quality, help manage flooding and benefit society.

Other advantages include improved air quality, reducing the ‘urban island heat’ effects and supporting wildlife. And they make towns and cities pleasanter places to live in.
