Support our Centenary Woods project

Join us for the most exciting woodland creation project in our history.

In commemoration of the First World War, we are planting a million trees across the UK and transforming four very special sites into four beautiful new woods.

With your help, by 2018 each country in the UK will have its own Centenary Wood; thousands of hectares of trees, fields and flowers there for anyone to visit, free of charge, for generations to come.

It will cost us £20 million to complete this project so put simply we need your help!

How your company can get involved

We are looking for three types of partner for the Centenary Woods Project. Each way of partnering with us offers the opportunity to:

  • Be part of an ambitious UK wide environmental and community project with HRH The Princess Royal as Patron.
  • Align your company with a leading voice on the UK environment. The Woodland Trust is a recognised consumer brand with a wide appeal and has amazing PR track record - in 2014, our reach was over 1.1 billion with an advertising equivalent value of more than £18 million.
  • Build your brand and sales in various ways, from inclusion on press releases to recognition on the project website – and invitations to key milestone events.

We need financial support to buy land, plant trees and work with schools and communities, and communications support to help promote the project and let people know how they can take part.

We'll create a bespoke partnership

This is an exciting opportunity and we would like to work with you to understand your environmental and community aims and your interest in the project. We can then create an exciting, bespoke partnership for your company to ensure we meet your objectives as well as our own.
