2 May 2017 Bat walk Heartwood Forest

Join our bat expert on a guided walk at Heartwood Forest to find out more about these elusive nocturnal mammals. Beginning just before dusk, the walk will lead attendees onto the site using a bat detector to highlight any activity.

Learn about the different species of bat which are native to the UK, find out how the bat detector works, and ask the knowledgeable walk leader anything you have always wondered about this charismatic species.
