Ask your Welsh Assembly Member to reject plans that would wreck four ancient woods.
Plans for a new relief road around Newport herald dark days for ancient woods, trees, nature and our future generations.
The Welsh Government will soon decide whether to proceed with plans for a new section of motorway – known as the M4 corridor around Newport.
This would threaten four ancient woods and also drive a coach and horses through Wales’ world-leading environmental legislation, the Environment (Wales) Act and also the commitments made in the Well-being of Future Generations Act.
Your Assembly Members will soon vote on whether the plans should be taken forward. Tell them that any damage to Wales’ ancient woodland is unacceptable.
