Fforestganol is a Local Nature Reserve adjacent to Fforest fawr with both being conveniently placed for Taffs Well railway station. Fforestganol is part of a larger beech woodland which is criss-crossed by a dense network of paths. Walkers and, in some places, horse riders are welcome.
