This wood lies near a bus route (ask for Nant-y-Pandy), a cycle route and the North Wales Path. Llanfairfechan (with a railway station, beaches and play opportunities) is close by too. The Llanfairfechan tumbles through this wood. Crossing it can require the use of stepping stones and the path network includes steps & gates. Trees in this Local Nature Reserve include Sessile Oak, Alder, Ash & Sycamore. Wildlife includes redstart, pied flycatcher & heron. Don't miss the bluebells in Spring!
