Mousefield Coppice is a patch of woodland that forms part of the Werneth Lowe country park. It houses native trees such as holly and rowan and you can see some great examples of traditionally coppiced trees. Access is just up the path towards the war memorial from the visitor centre, after the kissing gate the coppice is on the left. The country park provides acres of hilly ground for walking and on a clear day you can see over to Manchester, Saddleworth Moor and even Wales.
