East Hoath Wood

A well used and very pleasant area of ancient woodland on the western edge of Rainham. The gardens of houses in Edwin Road back onto the wood which lies between Edwin Road and Hoath Way - bisected by Hoath Lane. The wood is owned and managed by Medway Council and some coppicing has been undertaken to encourage new habitats
