Sunnyside Wood (1)

Planted in 2004 as part of the National Forest tender scheme, Sunnyside lies within walking distance of the village of Packington. This wood is characterised by broad open rides giving views across the surrounding landscape. A picnic table is situated at a high point. Access is via footpaths off Coleorton Lane. Dogs are permitted only on leads. There is no parking on site. Buzzards, heron and jays can be seen here. There is a pond surrounded by sedges and bulrushes.
