Access to this young broadleaf woodland, bordered by a small stream, requires a bit of walk along public & permissive rights of way. However, walking from Ullesthorpe village or from the south you'll pass through a historic landscape of archaeology, a disused railway line, (in the south planted with maturing woodland belt avenue), as well as views across the Leicestershire countryside.
