Explore the site of one of the largest hill forts in the country.

Credenhill Park Wood is a fantastic place to investigate natural wonders and historical remnants.

It is the site of an impressive Iron Age hill fort and the ramparts are still clearly visible today. Within the hill fort there is an area where schools can base themselves among the trees and explore the site, including some of the veteran trees and ancient plant species that are found here. On the outside edge of the hill fort there is a section of semi-natural ancient woodland too.
