Woodland Trust joins Landshare

Visit Landshare - opens in a new window

We've joined forces with the River Cottage team's Landshare project, which brings together landowners and people that want to grow their own food. We are seeking committed individuals or community groups to manage three of our woods: Chalk Pit, Wenningber and Tarn Wadling.

The Trust is keen to encourage planting of trees and woodland creation in places where perhaps not traditionally thought of as suitable. Landshare is a great way to help widen the tree planting debate and allow the Woodland Trust to engage with landowners who have not considered tree planting before or simply just don't know how to go about it.

Our MOREwoods project team can help with enquiries and, on occasion, funds for the right projects.

If you are a landowner...

Looking to plant some trees? We might be able to connect you with a corporate "sponsor" who would like to mitigate their business carbon emissions. Please contact us to register your interest by sending an email to carbon@woodlandtrust.org.uk.
