No. The money you give us is what enables us to put the tree in the ground.
We provide the land, maintenance and public engagement activities as part of the more general aims of the Woodland Trust. You provide the tree.
Without your money – or someone else's – that tree would not be planted. In many cases, the contribution raised through the sale of Woodland Trust Carbon products provides only part – around a third – of the total cost of woodland creation.
However, it is a sufficiently large contribution that without it the tree planting simply would not happen.
You make the woodland addititional: we make it permanent.
