To celebrate 40 years of volunteers at the Woodland Trust, we are inviting all of our volunteers and members of the supporter groups of our woods to our National Volunteers' Conference, which will be held on Saturday 12th May at Belton Woods Hotel, near Grantham, Lincolnshire.
We will be joined by a host of leading experts on woods and trees (including Edward Milner, Ted Green and Ed Parker), who will be presenting thought-provoking talks and sitting on the panel for our contentious debate, 'Going Native - Should we focus on planting native trees as a better investment for our future than non-natives?'.
You will even have the chance to hone your woodland photography skills, or find out how to create a woodland in your community, with seven different optional workshops being held in the afternoon.
With the option of a bat walk thrown in on the evening before, and of a guided walk in Belton Park on the morning after, this is set to be a fantastic event!
