Guided walk leader - Heartwood

The task

Heartwood Forest is England’s largest new native woodland being created in St Albans. It covers a large area of 858 acres and will eventually boast 600,000 new trees, a community orchard, miles of paths and rides and an array of wildlife.

Guided walks are a great way of introducing new people to Heartwood and informing others of our progress and plans.

Groups regularly approach us asking for guided walks.

You will help to organise and run these guided walks around Heartwood for local groups - your skill, knowledge and enthusiasm will ensure participants leave a walk inspired about the site and the work of the Trust and full of ideas for future visits to this or other woodland.
