The Task
Heartwood Forest is England’s largest new native woodland being created in St Albans. It covers a large area of 858 acres and will eventually boast 600,000 new trees, a community orchard, miles of paths and rides and an array of wildlife.
There are several external events, particularly during the spring and summer months that will help to raise awareness of Heartwood Forest and increase understanding of our work. The voluntary external event organiser will set and run these stalls at local shows and events with the help of other volunteers.
This will be a great opportunity for you to enjoy the outdoors whilst giving something back to the Trust.
