Volunteering - what's it all about?

Hundreds of people from all walks of life give thier precious time and volunteer for the Trust. Every one of them whether in or out of the woods is essential to the Trusts future and provides an invaluable contribution to the work we do and enables us to achieve our objectives.

Our volunteers

  • Give us their precious time
  • Offer enthusiasm and a wealth of experience and skills that complement those of our staff
  • And are essential ambassadors for the work we do

As a volunteer you can have the satisfaction of knowing that whatever you do

  • That the time you give will be appreciated by everyone we engage with
  • And that you will have made a difference to our woods and trees

and maybe even learn something on the way.

Our volunteers are involved in many ways that support our work these opportunities include keeping an eye on our woods to guiding senior staff through complex decision making processes.
