The Tree O'clock teams

Teams of people passionate about tree planting and keen to break world record will be meeting at Hainault and Heartwood Forests on 5th December to see if they can plant over 18,000 trees in one hour.

Here you can meet these people and find out why they are helping to make the UK a greener place to live.

All over London and the home counties

Why do you want to take part in the record:
Give love find love is a community programme dedicated to creating togetherness within communities. We provide opportunities for fun, adventurous and meaningful events that positively impact local communities and the area in which they live.

Tree O'clock is a rare and exciting opportunity to be involved in and the added competition of competing against a fellow home county makes it all the more exciting. We want Essex to win this competition and be crowned World Record Breaking home county!

Name of team:
Ikea

Where are you from:
Wembley, Croydon, Milton Keynes, Edmonton, Lakeside

Why do you want to take part in the record:
We’re very proud that by working together with our customers and the Woodland Trust, our IKEA Foot of forest campaign is making a significant difference to our native woodland - thanks to IKEA FAMILY members simply swiping their membership card each time they visit our stores. In fact this scheme has already helped create thousands of square feet, so we want to say a big thank you to our customers for their support. Now it’s our turn to get digging! Taking part in this exciting record breaking tree planting activity is a great opportunity for IKEA co-workers to get stuck in and do something positive to help Hainult Forest flourish.
