Jason Down - the Three Peak Challenge

Jason Down, his friends and colleagues for Oakland Tree Services Ltd plan to undertake the Three Peaks Challenge on the 18th and 19th April.  The Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks, respectively, in England, Wales and Scotland, within 24 hours. The Peaks are: Snowdon (Wales – 1085m), Scafell Pike (England – 978m) and Ben Nevis (Scotland – 1344m).

Jason is already a family sponsor for the ‘Woodland Trust’, an experienced climber and mountaineer with a passion for saving ancient tree and woodland. In Jason’s own words “I am a Professional Tree Surgeon with my own business “Oakland Tree Services Ltd.”, and the team that run with me all share the same passion for helping to save an environment which is constantly been placed under pressure by an ever expanding population. We felt this challenge is a good opening to raise awareness about the issues relating to the articles I read whilst raising much needed funds.

The Woodland Trust greatly appreciates the hard work and commitment that Jason Down and the Oakland Tree Services team are putting into the Three Peaks Challenge and urges you to support them generously.  You can do this online by visiting their JustGiving site.
