Guided Walk, Marl Hall Woods

Saturday 13th October

9.45am  - 3.30pm

A Tale of Two Woods

We will enjoy the autumn colour and reflect on the historic aspects of the landscape. The walk will comprise two circuits, both starting from Bryn Pydew Village Hall, where tea and cakes will be available at lunchtime: walkers are welcome to join us for one or both loops. The morning circuit will take to the historic Marl Hall Woods, returning to the village hall for lunch at 1pm. After lunch, we take Coed Bron Garth and its canopy of beech trees, returning to our start point at approximately 3.30pm.

Terrain is steep in places, with some exposed limestone, steps and slippery sections. Minor road, track, bridleway and footpath will be included.

The route benefits from spectacular views across the Conwy Valley to Snowdonia and beautiful woodland scenery.

Dogs under close control welcome (livestock may be present).
