Northern England - Boggle Top

Size: 11.81 acres (4.78 ha)
Near: Fylingdales, North Yorkshire

Dr. Elizabeth Asser loved Yorkshire and trees. A gift in her will, together with commemorative donations in lieu of flowers;  is helping our work at Boggle Top in the North York Moors national park and creating a living memorial to her and these two great passions.

This site now extends the ancient Hone Wood and over 10,000 trees have been planted - mostly oak and ash, with a sprinkling of maple, rowan, hazel, holly, hawthorn, and dog rose.

Visit 'Our Woods' to find out more about this wood.
