Moat Wood at East Hoathly, near Uckfield in East Sussex takes its name from the interesting moat feature on the site. The 24 acre (9.7 hectares) wood is mixed broadleaf and dominated by oak, hornbeam and birch, with sweet chestnut and a small area of planted pine.
