Hotties will make the perfect pressie!
A range of Woodland Trust microwavable 'hotties' are now on sale in selected Dorothy Perkins stores throughout the UK and on-line.
The 'hotties' are just like hotwater bottles and once microwaved give off a lovely lavender scent as well as being cuddly and warm.
The 'hotties' cost £8 in store, with £1 from each sale going to the Woodland Trust. If the range sells though this could add up to £40,000.
The range consists of four different woodland inspired animals, which are a squirrel, owl, badger and duck.
The 'hotties' range is one of a number of fundraising activities which Dorothy Perkins has run in partnership with the Trust.
In the Spring of 2009 Dorothy Perkins raised thousands of pounds for the Trust with a series of 100% organic cotton t-shirts.
The Woodland Trust received a £5 donation for every t-shirt sold to help to plant thousands more native trees in the UK.
Each t-shirt had its own eco-inspired print which has been exclusively designed for the Woodland Trust by the Dorothy Perkins team.
Fashionable fundraising
The Trust has been in partnership with Dorothy Perkins since May 2007 when the first collection of organic clothing and fun accessories took the Woodland Trust to the high street.
Thanks to generous donations per item and some fantastic fundraising, Dorothy Perkins staff and customers have raised £650,000 to date!
Wear it with pride!
Help to take this total even higher this year and head to Dorothy Perkins online or in stores for these lovely cuddly 'hotties' that say you love UK woodland!
