Swapping loyalty points for a meadow of wildflowers!

The Courtesy of Coutts loyalty programme for World, Gold and certain eligible Business Card holders allows clients to collect one point for each £1 they spend. They then have the opportunity to redeem their points in support of the Woodland Trust.

Clients may choose to donate their points towards one of five Woodland Trust intiatives, including:

  • Plant a meadow of wildflowers - 5000 points
  • Restore a bluebell woodland - 8350 points
  • Secure the future of 1/2 acre of mature woodland - 83,340 points

Carol Benn, manager of the Courtesy of Coutts loyalty programme at Coutts, commented: “Since its inception almost two years ago, the scheme has generated a significant amount of money for three very worthy charities. This is all down to the enormous generosity of our World, Gold and Business Card clients, who instead of receiving points to spend on themselves, chose to channel these points towards helping charitable causes.  But the potential to raise so much more is there.  This is why we want to encourage clients to cash in their points to see just what impact can be achieved with very little effort.”
