The Woodland Trust Scotland acquired Balmacaan Wood in 1984, its first Scottish site. Since then we have been creating new native woodland for the benefit of both people and wildlife through the simple act of planting a tree.

Lang Craigs, a magnificent site spanning 240 ha (600 acres) will become the largest woodland creation site in Central Scotland. However, if the site is to reach its full potential it still requires your support.
