Legal obligations

What are our legal obligations?

Land ownership comes with certain legal obligations and responsibilities, especially for large land owners like the Woodland Trust which openly welcome visitors. The Trust considers itself a responsible and considerate custodian of some of the UK's most beautiful countryside.

The safety of our staff and visitors is of paramount importance and all our sites have a risk assessment in place and are regularly inspected to ensure they are as safe as a natural environment can reasonably be.

The Woodland Trust is the UK's leading woodland conservation charity.

The Woodland Trust is a charity registered in England and Wales (No. 294344) and in Scotland (No. SC038885).
