What to wear

When visiting Woodland Trust sites we recommend that you take warm and waterproof clothing with you, plus stout shoes.

Many Trust woods can be muddy too so a good pair of wellies is a useful addition!

You should also make sure you have water and if possible, a map of the site with you.

Many of our sites are quite large, so you might want to take a snack with you - but please remember to take any litter home.

Always follow the Countryside Code -  take only photographs and leave only footprints.
