Hunt for ancient trees
Join our Ancient Tree Hunt and help us find all the fat old trees across the UK - just by hugging them! It's lots of fun for all the family and you'll be helping to protect ancient trees too.
Spot seasonal changes
Help with our survey to help scientists measure how climate change is affecting the wildlife on your doorstep.
Dappled sunlight, fresh morning dew... Woods are great places to take pictures. Add your thoughts and photos and help us inspire everyone about woodland.
We hold tree planting days at some of our woods. You can plant our trees or even bring your own (if they're native of course - please check first!) and help create the woods of the future.
Join a community group
Community groups operate in many of our woods. Have a say in how your local wood is managed and cared for and help us carry out the practical work. Or if you need help in a wood, our Community Woodland Network can give you lots of ideas, advice and possible funding.
