Tales of Hackfall

At the end of November Eco-Storyteller Nettlefoot Kate visited Hackfall for a truly fascinating day of storytelling and story-gathering.

The afternoon included a story walk around the woods and all their 18th century ‘follies’. In the evening visitors to the Crown Inn sat spellbound for a couple of hours by the fire, listening to tales of schoolboy trespassing and pranks on the warden, drownings, brutish logging, horseracing intrigue, Sunday School Treats and much much more!

Thankfully all of these wonderful stories  have been  recorded as podcasts and you can listen to some of the main stories here......
