About this wood

Worney Wood occupies a gently sloping, west facing area of former fertile improved pasture on the northern outskirts of the village of Llysworney. The key features are new native woodland and informal public access. Worney wood is sited within further fields of improved pasture, with a small patch of trees to the north including an ancient tree, and several old hedgerow trees around. There is a duck pond to the south of the site.
