About this wood

This fascinating wood, lies near the village of Scotlandwell, Perth and Kinross. Conifers predominate in this largely flat site on the shores of Loch Leven. Portmoak Moss is of great conservation value as a raised bog habitat which is currently undergoing phased restoration.
