About this wood

The Woodland Trust in December 1998 planted Paddock Wood, with funding from the Millennium Commission, The Gregg’s Trust and the local community. It is located just north of Longhirst village, on the B1337 Morpeth Road, Northumberland. The woodland is almost a triangle with the tip pointing west and the base parallel to the B1337 through the village.
