About this wood

Telford way is situated on the western edge of Kettering, it is a very small fragment of developing mixed scrub woodland with small areas of rough grassland and some recent planting. The site is quite isolated from the rest of the landscape by development: - to the east is the Kingsthorne distribution Park to the north the A43 trunk rd to the south and west the A14 trunk road. The wood itself is slotted between the cutting formed by the A43 and the Kingsthorne distribution park access road (Henson Way).
