About this wood

Faith Wood, acquired by the Woodland Trust in December 1993, is a part of the much larger Cowpen Bewley Woodland Park situated on low lying land on the northeast edge of Billingham in Teesside (NZ 482 258). The park was designated a Local Nature Reserve (L.N.R.) by Cleveland County Council in March 1996 and is also designated a Site of Nature Conservation Interest (S.N.C.I.) because of the mix of semi-natural habitats it contains. Faith Wood, along with the rest of the park is also situated within The Tees Forest.
