About this wood

Popular with visitors, who make the most of the flat, easy, enjoyable walking, Pipe Hall Farm lies between the two local communities of Burntwood and Lichfield, in the Mercia Community Forest. Set within a mainly arable area, much of the site is new plantation, dominated by native broadleaves with a smaller proportion of conifers in open grassland areas.
