About this wood

Harpsden and Peveril Woods form an 18-hectare site situated in the parish of Harpsden approximately 1.5miles south of Henley on Thames in south Oxfordshire and within the Chiltern Hills. The site is ancient semi-natural woodland and forms part of a larger Site of Special Scientific Interest. It is made up of three blocks of woodland separated by Woodlands Road with the northern part of the wood dipping towards a dry chalk valley.
