About this wood

Local people love to relax and play in Hell Hole Wood, a popular site within the Great North Forest. However it is the red squirrel that may help to shape the future of this ancient woodland site close to Beamish in County Durham. A survey indicates that large numbers think this is not such a Hell Hole.
