About this wood

Considered to be one of the finest woods in Suffolk for its plant life, Priestley is packed with historic and floral importance. A tour of the wood confirms its classic ancient woodland roots, thanks to such signs as woodbanks and boundary pollards. A wonderfully rich plant population is testimony to the wood’s long, uninterrupted tree cover.
