About this wood

Uffington Gorse is a 4 hectare woodland situated in the Vale of the White Horse in Oxfordshire near to Uffington village. It is a level site bounded by roads on two sides, with farmland to the north and west. The western edge of the site stops at a disused canal. There is a block of mostly conifer trees outside the Woodland Trust's ownership and beyond the northern boundary.

This site has been transferred into third party management with appropriate safeguards in place to ensure it remains protected. The site is no longer under our day-to-day management control and therefore we do not maintain a management plan for this site. There are also no dedications available on this site.
