About this wood

Fieldside Covert was probably planted as a thicket for fox hunting, but has developed into mature woodland with a myriad of wildlife habitats. It’s 6 hectares (15 acres) of sloping woodland straddling the Grand Union Canal, three miles east of Rugby; the canal itself is a special site for wildlife too.
