About this wood

Hoddesdon Park is a delightful oak-hornbeam wood with a decidedly majestic feel. This is due to the grandness of its numerous tall, straight mature oaks and beautiful hornbeam with their twisted branches and smooth, grey trunks. Visit in summer and you’ll be greeted by the heady scent of honeysuckle which festoons many of the trees – a great draw for the white admiral butterfly.
