About this wood

Costells Wood lies on the edge of the village of Scaynes Hill. The site is mainly level with steep-sided ghylls running through the site and along the western boundary. It is part of a much larger area of woodland which extends to the north and east (Henfield and Nashgill Woods). A 10 acre area of Costells Wood in the south-east is outside of the Woodland Trust's ownership.
