About this wood

Trinity wood was planted in 1998 with a mixture of native broadleaved trees as part of the Woodland Trusts Woods on Your Doorstep project. While the site is just under 3.5 ha in size it provides a very attractive recreational resource that is well used by locals. The sites appeal is heightened further by its location adjacent to a small mature woodland known as Brick Kiln plantation, also in Trust ownership. A circular linking network of paths devised through consultation as part of the design process for Trinity Wood gives visitors the opportunity to extend their walk through the recently planted area within Trinity Wood and into Brick Kiln Plantation.
