About this wood

Set on a ridge, this prominent landscape feature offers great views over Marston Vale. Forming part of Marston Vale Community Forest, the site combines the semi-natural ancient woodland of Holcot Wood with a programme of tree planting, pond and meadow creation at Reynold Wood. Marbled white butterflies can be seen on the new open grassy rides and look out for muntjac and Chinese water deer, foxes and hares.
