About this wood

A County Heritage site, Otterbourne Park Wood boasts a former Roman road running through part of the site, evidence of which can still be seen. Though steep and slippery, this ancient woodland is well used by nearby residents and features oak, ash, maple and wet valley alders, some of which are believed to date back to 1800.
