About this wood

Well used every day by local residents of nearby Chalford and Frampton Mansell, this ancient semi-natural woodland is one element of a cocktail of habitats making up the local landscape. The woods are dominated by beech high forest with a scattering of ash and oak and a rich tapestry of hazel, holly and yew beneath.
